Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop w/ Paper Smooches!! =)

Hello!!
I'm stopping in to share a card that I've made for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!!
I wanted to use the Sweet Little Coffee and Tea Dies from Paper Smooches!! I die cut them and started to play around with a Layout!!?? I truly had NO IDEA or Direction I was heading in, I just KNEW I wanted to use the Die Cuts!!?? After looking through my other Paper Smooches Dies I decided to Die Cut a Frame 1 Die!! I decided to cut it in half and use it as the Base/Table for my Coffee Mugs!! I then used the Shadows Stamp Set to create a Shadow for the Mugs on the Frame Die Cut using SSS Fog Ink!!  I then die cut a Brick Patterned Paper from the Crate Paper Boys Paper Collection!! I wanted to tone it down alittle, so I die cut a Vellum piece to layer over the top and I LOVE the way it looks!! Then a LightBulb went off!!??  =)  I thought it would be FUN to create a SWEET Little Coffee Mug Couple!! =) Since it is a Spring theme, I thought I'd go for a HAPPY Color Palette!! I used the New Incognito Stamp Set and I stamped and Embossed the Glasses and Face Features!! Then I fussy cut them out!! I used a N0 Copic Marker to add some shading to the Glasses!! I wanted them to be even more dressed up so I stamped a Handsome Little Hat from the Noggin Toppers Stamp Set and then I used the New Baby Bow Die and I die cut a Pretty Floral Patterned Paper for a Bow!! I LOVE the way they turned out, adding just the right finishing touches!!  =) I stamped my sentiment on the Vellum and then heat embossed it using Clear Embossing Powder!! At this point, I thought I was DONE!!?? Something felt like it was missing though!!?? So after thinking about it I decided the Coffee Mugs needed so Steam!! So I took the Flap Happy Stamp Set and stamped two different Trail Images to use as the Steam for my Coffee Mugs!! =) I wanted it to look as though the steam was rising and then forming Hearts!! =) I really LOVE the look!! I stamped them underneath the Vellum panel so they would appear faint just like real Steam!! =) I had to mask the images in orfer to get the look I wanted, but I really like the way it turned out!! I then took a Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Marker and traced over the Trail/Steam Images ontop of the Vellum and I really like the subtle look it adds!! I added a Tiny Heart Die Cut and then I decided to add Wiggly Eyes to the Glasses just to add even MORE FUN to this scene!! The Girl is Winking!! =)

Hello!!
I'm stopping in to share the card that I've made for the Paper Trey Ink Make It Monday Challenge #202: Anchoring With Border and Banner Dies!! I just LOVED the FUN Idea and Card that the AMAZING Melissa Phillips created above for this Challenge!! =)
I started my card with a Tim Holtz Distress Water Color Panel and used some Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass!! I used the Monthly Moments: Journal Card 8 Die  Die to create a Background for my Scrambled Eggs Image that I added to a Tag Sale #7 Die Collection Frame!! I used the Loop de Loop II Border Die and I thought it was the PERFECT fit!! =) It kinda reminds me of Bunny Whiskers!! =) I also added a Sweet Little Felt Flower just to add to the Sweetness!! I really LOVE the way my Easter/Spring Card turned out!!

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by and I hope you have a Fabulous Week!!

Hello!!
I'm here to share the New Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge with you!! This week we are back with an ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE!!  ;)  I just LOVE the New Roses Dies and knew I had to use them for my card this week!! I have LOVED all of the BEAUTIFUL Inspiration that the Paper Smooches DT has shared and I thought it would be FUN to try something with them that I hadn't seen done yet!!?? I wanted to use some Printed Vellum!! Tim Holtz has one of the most BEAUTIFUL Printed Vellum Paper Pads I have EVER seen called "Wildflowers"!! I decided to Die Cut the Dies which is the outline shape of the flower in Kraft Cardstock and then back them with the Printed Vellum!! I just traced around the Die onto the Vellum and then I cut inside the outline by about 1/8 all the way around the Image and I had my shape!! I Inked the edges of the Flower Outline first just to add some more interest to the Flowers and then glued the Vellum to the back!! Once they were adhered I decided they needed little more of something!!?? So I traced along the flower outline with my Glue Pen and then added some Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter and I LOVE the way that they turned out!! I added some Foam Tape to the back of the Flowers making sure to hid it behind the outline and then added the Leaves!! I took a Distress Water Color Panel and Stamped my sentiment from the Paper Smooches Blossoming Buds Stamp Set with Versa Mark Ink and then added some Hero Arts White Embossing Powder!! Once heat set I added some Old Paper Distress Ink that I watered down and created a Water Colored Panel!! I took some Gold Acrylic Paint and watered it down with some of my Old Paper Distress Water Color and added a few Splatters for some extra dimension and contrast!! Once those were dry I added the Flowers and a few Pretty Pink Posh Crystal Sequins and some Gold Thread and my card was done!!
I hope you'll stop by to see what the rest of the AMAZING Paper Smooches SPARKS DT created for the challenge this week and that you'll be able to find the time to play along with us!!??

SpringCoffeeLoversBH-01

Hello!!
I'm here to share the New March Paper Sweeties Inspiration #29 Challenge ~ Waiting for Spring!! I just LOVE the Inspiration Photo and there are SO many ways that you can go using this as your jumping off point!! I thought it would be FUN to combine this Challenge with the New Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! =) I decided to create a Sweet little Coffee Pot Shaker element and then I used some of the New Paper Sweeties Flower Dies to die cut some Felt Flowers to use for my embellishments!! I added some Webster's Pages Lace and then I Stamped and Embossed my sentiment in Ranger Gold Embossing Powder!! I've used the Paper Sweeties Tea Time for Two Bundle, the Pretty Posies Sweet Cuts Die Set, the Sending Sweet Thought Sweet Cuts Die Set and the Party Time Bundle Set!! For the inside of my Shaker I added some of the Sweet Gold Sequins, some 4mm Sequins and Crystal Seed Beads from Pretty Pink Posh!!  I painted my Coffee Pot with some Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint in Tattered Rose!! I inked it up using Gathered Twigs Distress Ink after it was dry and I used a Stitched Circle Die from Lil' Inker Designs to create the Shaker Window in my Coffee Pot!! I wanted to add some stamping to my card base so I used the Trio of Dots Stamp from the Party Time Stamp Set and then used some Gold Paint and Distress Stain to color them in and then used a White Gel Pen to add a High Light mark to each one for even more interest!! I LOVE the way it turned out!!
To see even more AMAZING Inspiration being shared I hope you'll stop by the rest of the Paper Sweeties DT Blogs to see what they have created!! =)

HELLO!!
Today I'm sharing the card I have made for the Sparkle Inspiration Challenge's 300th Challenge Celebration!! They are hosting a Super FUN Challenge with LOTS of Giveaways and Paper Sweeties along with several other AMAZING Sponsors are giving away AWESOME Prizes!! =) I was inspired by the Colors and the Sweet Cupcake!! So here is my Card!!

I've used the Paper Sweeties Sending Sweet Thoughts Bundle Set to create my Sweet Little Cupcake Image!! I Stamped each of the elements with Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and then used some Ranger Ultra Fine Clear Embossing Powder to Emboss them!! I Paper Pieced the Image together to create a SWEET Little 3-D Cupcake that I think looks YUMMY enough to eat!!  =)  I wanted to add some "Sparkle" so I coated the Top of my Cupcake with some Clear Rock Candy Distress Glitter and I LOVE the way that it shines in real life!! =) I used a Stitched Circle Die from Lil' Inker Designs to create a FUN Layered Circle Window on the front of my card to help make the YUMMY Cupcake the focal of my card!! I added a Patterned Paper Strip to the left hand side to help balance the card design and then to finish it off I wrapped a Black Ribbon around my card front and tied a Bow!! A few Pretty Pink Posh Crystal Sequins finish off the Design!! I LOVE the way it turned out and I hope you'll be able to join in on the FUN for a chance to win some AMAZING Prizes!!

Blog Hop Inspiration

HELLO!!
I'm stopping in to share the FUN Shaker Styled Card I've made for the February Paper Trey Ink Challenge Blog Hop!! I wanted to make a FUN card for one of my SWEETEST Friends!! She is just AMAZING and has a New Granddaughter so I thought I'd make her an Easter Card and one it is a FUN Little Felt Bow for her Granddaughter to wear!! =) It's a SURPRISE so I HOPE she LOVES it!! =) SQUEAL!! I used the Paper Trey Ink Cover Plate: Quatrefoil Die and the Water Coloring as my Inspiration from the Challenge Photo!! I changed the colors just alittle so it would coordinate with my SWEET Little Chick Felt Bow and I LOVE the Rainbow look that I got!! =) That is one think I like about this technique you NEVER know what you'll end up with and each one is UNIQUE!! I used Distress Inks and Water on Tim Holtz Distress Water Color Paper and I just LOVE the way the colors Blend and how you can add LOTS of water to soften the colors or leave them as is for a Darker shade!! =) SO MANY OPTIONS!! I used the Seasonal Stitching: Birds Die Collection and instead of leaving him flat, I cut two layers of everything from Paper Trey Ink Limeade Ice Felt and made him a Puffy Bird!! I just LOVE the way it turned out and have made SEVERAL of these in different colors to give away!! =) I then used the Leaves Die from the Paper Trey Ink Song Birds Die Set and the Thanks Die Cut is from the Wet Paint Words Die Set!! I didn't want this to be too in your face so I used a Chalkboard Grey Paper and then it need some bulk to hold its own against that Chick and the Leaves so I Die Cut it 5 Times and layered them altogether and I LOVE the way it came together and I hope you do too!!??

THANKS SO MUCH for stopping by today and I hope you have a FABULOUS WEEK!!
